  • 12 oz. boneless beef sirloin
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton lower fat dairy sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. lower sodium tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1 tsp. instant beef bouillon
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 6 oz. nonstick fettucine
  • 2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. snipped parsley

Directions

    Trim fat from beef.

    Partially freeze beef.

    Thinly slice across grain into bite-size strips.

    In a small mixing bowl, stir together the sour cream, flour and tomato paste.

    Stir in the water, bouillon and pepper.

    Set aside.

    Cook fettucine.

    Omit oil and salt.
