Beef Stroganoff

  • 2 lb. beef sirloin or tenderloin
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. Season-All
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. sherry
  • 1 c. sour cream

Directions

    Cut beef into bite size strips; saute in butter until brown. Add onion, Season-All, nutmeg and sherry.

    Cover and simmer about 20 minutes.

    Remove from heat and allow to cool.

    Have sour cream at room temperature.

    Stir into cooled beef mixture and heat on low heat until hot, careful not to allow to boil (boiling will result in a curdled appearance).

    Serve with white rice or buttered noodles.
