- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) envelope Old El Paso taco seasoning mix
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 c. (8 oz.) J. L. Kraft Select shredded sharp natural Cheddar cheese
- 12 Old El Paso taco shells
- shredded lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) jar Old El Paso taco sauce
Directions

1Brown meat; drain.

2Add onions and garlic; cook until tender. Stir in seasoning mix and water.

3Bring to boil.

4Reduce heat. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5Add 1 cup cheese; stir until melted.

6Place shells on cookie sheet.

7Bake at 350° for 5 minutes.

8Fill shells with meat mixture.

9Top with lettuce, tomatoes and remaining cheese.

10Serve with sauce.

11Makes 12 tacos.
