Beef Tortilla Casserole

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can enchilada sauce
  • 1 can chopped green chilies
  • 1 doz. tortillas, broken in small pieces
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese, grated

Directions

    Brown beef and season slightly with garlic salt and pepper. Mix into beef; soups, sauces and green chilies.

    Heat, stirring occasionally.

    Add salt to taste and place in casserole alternating tortillas and sauce.

    Sprinkle cheese and onion between each layer. Bake at 350° until bubbly, about 1/2 hour.

    Place cheese on top to melt through dish.
