- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 lb. mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 medium clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 (17 1/2 oz.) pkg. frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 large egg
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Sprinkle beef with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

3Place on rack in shallow pan.

4Bake 20 minutes.

5Remove from oven.

6Cool 30 minutes.
