Beef With Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. flank steak, round steak or any other steak; thinly sliced into about 1/2 x 1/2 x 2 inch long
  • 1 bunch fresh broccoli
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking wine
  • 3 slices ginger, cut into thin, small pieces
  • 4 green onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (one Tbsp for marinate, one for gravy)
  • 3 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. broth or water
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. peanut oil, crisco oil or any other vegetable oil

Directions

    Put beef slices and add soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, pepper, wine, broth, ginger, sugar, onions into a big bowl until smooth. Set aside for 20 minutes at least (they can be marinated up to 24 hours.
