Beef With Peppers

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 lb. beef, cut in small thin slices
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 c. soup stock (beef bouillon)
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 c. green pepper, sliced lengthwise
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger, chopped fine

Directions

    Heat pan, add 1 1/2 tablespoons oil and 1 clove garlic, crushed.

    When garlic browns, remove.

    Add beef, fry a few minutes.

    Do not agitate very much.

    Season with salt and pepper. Add one cup soup stock and continue to cook for a few seconds.
