- 1 (8 lb.) beef standing rib roast
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Place roast, fat side up, in a roasting pan.

2Season with salt and pepper.

3Roast, uncovered, at 325° until meat thermometer registers 140° rare, 160° medium or 170° for well-done.

4Allow 3 1/2 hours for rare, 4 hours for medium and 4 3/4 hours for well-done.

5Remove meat from pan, cover and keep warm.

6Reserve 1/4 cup meat drippings.
-
7Increase oven temperature to 400°.
