Ingredients

  • 2 cups white minute rice
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1-2 cups mixed frozen veggies
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste salt & pepper
  • dash chopped onion
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tbsp butter or margarine

Directions

    Cook rice as directed.

    Set aside.

    Brown beef in a large skillet or wok.

    Season with garlic, salt, and pepper to taste.

    Drain any leftover grease.

    Add frozen veggies, onion, and 1 cup of water to skillet.

    Boil on high until water boils away.

    Stir frequently.

    (If using leftover cooked veggies, simply add to skillet and skip the water.)

    Turn off heat.

    Add butter and rice to skillet.

    Stir until butter is melted.
