- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 12 oz. beer
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
Directions

1Combine flour, sugar and beer in bowl.

2Stir to blend.

3Turn into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

4Melt butter and pour half over dough. Continue to bake another 40 minutes.

5Serve warm with butter or cool and slice, then toast slices and serve with butter.

6Makes 1 loaf.
