- vegetable oil
- 1 lb. cod or catfish chunks
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. Bisquick
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. beer
Directions

1Heat oil in deep frying pan.

2Lightly coat fish with 3 to 4 tablespoons of Bisquick.

3Mix 1 cup Bisquick, egg, salt, beer and lemon juice.

4Dip fish into batter; let excess batter drip off. Fry fish until golden brown (about 2 minutes on each side).

5Drain on paper towel.

6Serve with tartar sauce.
