Beer Bread

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 (12 oz.) can beer
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 stick melted butter

Directions

    Gently mix flour, sugar and beer until just blended. Pour into a 9 x 5 greased pan (leave a lumpy top). If using a metal pan, bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until fork comes out clean when inserted into center. Drizzle with butter. Cool on rack before slicing.
