- 1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. chopped red onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can beer
- dash of salt and pepper
Directions

1Rinse chicken pieces with cool water.

2Pat dry with paper towels.

3In a large skillet, heat the oil.

4Brown chicken pieces on all sides.

5Sprinkle chopped onion, celery, garlic, salt and pepper over chicken.

6Add enough beer to barely cover chicken. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is done to your liking.

7Juices should run clear when pierced with a fork.

8Serve hot with extra celery sprinkled over the top.
