- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm milk
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast over milk; stir to dissolve.

2Beat egg yolks; add to yeast mixture with vanilla.

3Add dry ingredients.

4Stir in melted butter.

5Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into batter.

6Let mixture stand in warm place until mixture doubles in bulk.

7Use 3/4 to 1 cup batter per waffle.

8Batter keeps well in refrigerator for a week.
