- 2 ripe avocados
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 clove garlic, chopped or minced
- 1 Tbsp. chopped red onion
- 1/2 tomato, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. or more chopped cilantro
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- salt to taste
Directions

1Peel and seed the avocados.

2Mash the avocados in a nonmetallic bowl with a fork.

3Don't overdo it.

4Add the lime juice, garlic and Tabasco.

5Add a dash or two of salt.

6Taste and see if you need to add any more lime juice or salt.

7Add the remaining ingredients, and stir judiciously (the guacamole's texture should be chunky, not pureed).

8Refrigerate until you're ready to serve it.
