Berry Cream Coffee Cake

- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 c. biscuit mix
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1/2 c. raspberry or other flavor preserves
- icing
Directions

1Cut cheese and butter into biscuit mix.

2Blend in 1/3 cup milk.

3Knead 8 to 10 strokes.

4Roll into rectangle on waxed paper. Turn onto greased cookie sheet.

5Remove waxed paper.

6Spread preserves down center of rectangle.

7Cut off sides of dough into strips (almost to jam).

8Fold strips over center (crisscross). Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown.

9Cool.

10Drizzle with icing.
