Berry Oat Crumble

Ingredients

  • 8 oz frozen mixed berries
  • 1 can (15 oz) pear halves in juice, drained and sliced
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon peel
  • 4 tbsp packed light brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsp cold butter or margarine, cubed
  • None None Plain yogurt, to serve

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 6 cup baking dish. Mix the fruit, lemon peel and 1 tbsp of the sugar in a large bowl. Spoon the mixture into the prepared dish.

    Place the oats, remaining 3 tbsp brown sugar and almonds in a medium bowl. Using fingertips, rub in butter to make coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the fruit.

    Bake for 35 mins or until golden. Serve with yogurt.
