- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. malted milk powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 beaten egg
- seasonings for topping (poppy or sesame seed, etc.)
Directions

1Soften yeast and honey in warm water in large bowl.

2Add malted milk powder and salt.

3Add flour gradually.

4Divide dough into 12 pieces and roll on floured surface to make sticks about 10 to 12-inches long.

5Place on greased baking sheets.

6Brush with egg; sprinkle with desired toppings.

7Allow to rise, 10 to 15 minutes.

8Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned. Brush with melted butter or olive oil immediately after baking to keep bread sticks soft.
