  • 2 c. lard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Mix all together to a crumb stage.

    Add in, mixed together: 1 egg, beaten 1 teaspoon vinegar

    Combine the last 3 ingredients and add in to first mix, mix by hand.

    Pour onto floured board and add in more flour till you can handle easily.

    This makes sufficient dough for 4 two-crust 8 inch pies.
