Bierock Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 c. chopped cabbage
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 loaf Rhodes bread
  • 6 slices Kraft American cheese

Directions

    Set frozen bread dough out to thaw and let rise at least 8 hours.

    Brown hamburger and drain grease.

    Add chopped cabbage and onion.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Divide raised dough in half. Roll out half to fit in bottom of lightly greased pan.

    Add hamburger mixture.

    Roll out other half.

    Place sliced cheese on mixture, then other half of rolled out dough.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.

    Easier than making Bierocks.
