  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion or dehydrated
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. crushed cornflakes
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 2 c. grated cheese (American)

Directions

    Defrost potatoes. Combine them with all ingredients except cornflakes and 1/4 cup melted butter.

    Put into 3-quart buttered casserole. Combine cornflakes and melted butter; sprinkle on top. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
