- 2 lb. frozen hash browns
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion or dehydrated
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. crushed cornflakes
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1/2 c. melted margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 2 c. grated cheese (American)
Directions

1Defrost potatoes. Combine them with all ingredients except cornflakes and 1/4 cup melted butter.

2Put into 3-quart buttered casserole. Combine cornflakes and melted butter; sprinkle on top. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
