- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Bisquick
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400F and grease a pie plate.

2In medium bowl stir sugar with Bisquick just to combine.

3Set aside.

4Put remaining ingredients in a blender.

5Blend on high speed about 30

6seconds or until smooth and completely combined.

7Pour into Bisquick mixture and stir with a large spoon until fully incorporated and dough comes away from the side of the bowl.

8Dust your hands with Bisquick and knead dough until smooth and elastic - about 5 minutes.

9Shape dough into 8 equal patties, each about 1 inch thick.

10Place evenly in pie plate.

11Brush top of each biscuit with dab of soft butter or margarine.

12Cover with inverted glass bowl or lid sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.

13Allow biscuits to rise for about 30 minutes.

14Bake approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown and doubled in size.
