   Attach the string by tying a knot to the pine cone stem.

   With a knife, spread the peanut butter all over the pine cone.

   Place the birdseed in a pie tin.

   Roll the pine cones in the birdseed until covered.

   Hang the pine cones high on a tree out of reach of any cats.
