  • 1 lb. shortening (2 c.)
  • 2 tsp. anise seed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. brandy

    add eggs and anise seed. Cream well;

    Add liquid, as needed, until mixture

    holds together enough to roll.

    Cut in desired shapes and dip in mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
