- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
- 1/4 cup anisette
- 1/4 cup aniseed
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 6 eggs, room temperature
- 5 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
Directions

1Mix sugar, nuts, butter, aniseed, anisette, water and vanilla in large bowl.

2Beat in eggs one at a time.

3Combine flour and baking powder and stir into mixture.

4Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 3 hrs.
