- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. bacon grease
Directions

1Put flour in bowl.

2Cut shortening into flour real fine.

3Add milk until flour is doughy.

4Mix until all clings together in ball, handling lightly as possible.

5Roll out; cut into biscuits. Put bacon grease in biscuit pan and grease both sides of biscuits. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
