- 2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
Directions

1Heat oven to 450°.

2Measure flour, baking powder and salt into bowl.

3Cut in shortening thoroughly until mixture looks like meal. Stir in almost all milk.

4If dough is pliable, add just enough milk to a soft, puffy, easy to roll dough.

5Round up dough on lightly floured, dough cloth-covered board.

6Roll 20 to 25 times about 1/2 minute.

7Roll 1/2-inch thick.

8Cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet.

9Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
