- 6 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. anise seeds or anise extract
- 3 c. flour
Directions

1Beat the eggs slightly. Gradually add sugar and oil. Mix well. Sift baking powder and flour together, and gradually add into mixture.

2Add anise to the mixture.

3Place the entire mix into a jelly roll sheet pan (or French bread loaf pan) and spread evenly.

4Preheat oven to 350° and cook for 20 minutes. Cool.

5Cut into slices and brown on each side at 400° for just a few minutes.
