  • 1 box brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 c. sour milk
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, shortening and flour.

    Set aside.

    Add egg, sour milk and soda.

    Pour batter in a 13 x 9-inch pan on top of dry ingredients and bake at 350° until done.

    Do not grease pan.
