Bison Curry

  • 3 pounds bison ribeye The Honest
  • 2 cups carrots
  • 1 diced onion
  • 4 tablespoons oil any type
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 box curry mix Japanese, Medium or Hot
  • 6 cups water or Beef Stock
  • salt

Directions

    Heat pan and add oil. Cook onions until tender.

    Season rib eye with salt, pepper, and curry powder.

    Add seasoned meat to cooked onions and cook until the outside is brown (do not over cook, the inside of the meat will continue to cook in the slow cooker).

    Add carrots, potatoes, and cooked meat with onions into slow cooker.

    Add water or stock into the slow cooker and cook on low for 7 hours.

    Add 1 box of curry mix into the slow cooker and mix well to dissolve the mix. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high. Serve with nann or choice of rice.

    *if curry seems to be a bit too thick add more water or stock to desired consistency
