  • 1 12 cups cooked black beans
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves

Directions

    In a pot over medium heat, bring beans, water, salt and cumin to a boil.

    Transfer to a blender and puree until smooth.

    Return beans to stove and simmer for 20 minutes, until thick.

    Remove from heat.
