- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 to 3 Tbsp. jalapenos, seeded and chopped
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 (15 oz.) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can chicken broth
- fresh lime juice
- chopped cilantro and onions
Directions

1Saute jalapenos in olive oil with garlic and cumin.

2Add beans and broth, then cook for 5 minutes at medium heat.

3Mash beans. Boil and stir for 10 minutes.

4Season beans with salt, pepper and lime juice.

5Top with cilantro and onions.

6Serve as a side dish or in burritos.
