- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. and 2 Tbsp. boiling water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Sift together the first 5 ingredients and blend.

3Then add the next 3 ingredients.

4Pour into skillet or pan and set aside.

5Mix together the remaining 4 ingredients. Pour this mixture on top of first mixture.

6Bake at 400° for approximately 20 minutes.

7Cool before serving.

8When you spoon this cake into serving dishes, remember the bottom of the cake becomes the sauce topping.

9Add whipped cream if desired.
