- 1 c. softened cream cheese
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- 2/3 c. cooking oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine cream cheese, egg and 1/3 cup sugar for center.

2Stir in chocolate chips.

3Set aside.

4Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt, then add water, vinegar, oil and vanilla.

5Beat well.

6Fill muffin cups 1/2 full.

7Drop one heaping teaspoon in middle of chocolate batter.

8Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
