- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. Wesson oil
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream together the first 4 ingredients.

2Add chocolate bits and nuts; set aside.

3Add flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt to water, oil, vinegar and vanilla; mix well.

4Put paper baking cups in medium size muffin pans.

5Fill 1/3 full of chocolate batter. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture on top.

6Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
