  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1/3 c. cooking oil
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    In small bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa and soda.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Beat until well blended. prepare cream cheese topping.

    Pour chocolate batter into paper-lined muffin cups, filling 1/3 full.

    Top each with a tablespoon of cream cheese topping.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes until top springs back when lightly touched in center.

    Cool on rack.
