  • 1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
  • 21 oz. canned cherry pie filling
  • 1 tsp. almond flavoring
  • 1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 8 oz. carton whipped topping
  • chocolate sprinkles and maraschino cherries

    Bake cake according to directions in a 9 x 13 pan in a 350° oven. Mix pie filling and almond flavoring; while cake is still warm, poke holes in top with a fork and spread cherry filling over it. While the cake cools, prepare pudding, adding extra vanilla flavoring. Fold in whipped topping. Spread pudding mixture carefully over cake. Garnish with chocolate sprinkles and maraschino cherries.
