  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 c. flour (plain)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 medium pkg. black walnuts

Directions

    Mix sugar, egg and milk until well blended.

    Add flour, baking powder and salt into batter.

    Add walnuts, mixing well.

    Bake in greased loaf pan at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Brush top and sides with butter.
