- 1 cup butter
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups blackberry jam
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp allspice
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time and beating well after each additon.

3Dissolve soda in sour cream.

4Add jam.

5Stir into butter mixture.

6Add spices and salt to mix, beating well. Fold in flour.

7Bake in 5 or 6 9 inch cake pans at 350° for 30 minutes.
