  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 egg (room temperature)
  • 1 qt. fresh, washed blackberries
  • 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Cream 1/2 stick butter and sugar.

    Add egg, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and dry ingredients, sifted together.

    Fold blueberries into flour mixture.

    Bake in a greased 9 x 10 x 3-inch pan at 350° for 1 hour.
