- 1 cup butter
- 12 cup shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 12 cups flour
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 tablespoon nutmeg
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

2Cream butter and shortening with sugar.

3Add eggs; one at a time beating well after each addition.

4Sift dry ingredients together.

5Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

6Add vanilla and nutmeg.

7Pour into greased and floured bundt pan.

8Bake for 90 minutes.

9Cook for about 25 minutes then invert onto serving plate.
