- 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
Directions

1Put 1 1/2 c. flour and yeast in blender container.

2Switch on and off to mix.

3Heat lowfat milk, shortening, sugar, and salt till shortening melts.

4Add in to dry mix.

5Blend on low a few seconds.

6Add in egg.

7Blend on low till combined.

8Blend on high till smooth.

94 to 5 seconds.

10Pour into bowl.

11Add in rest of flour to make stiff dough.

12Cover.

13Let rise till double, about 45 min.

14Punch down.

15Turn onto floured surface.

16Let rest 10 min.

17Shape loaf.

18Put into greased 9 x 5 x 3 pan.

19Cover, let rise till double.

20Bake 375 degrees for 40 to 45 min.
