- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. flaked coconut
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

3Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.

4Beat together butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

5Beat in eggs, one at a time, until well blended.

6Mix in vanilla.

7Stir in flour mixture until well blended.

8Fold in nuts and coconut.
