- 2 eggs, separated
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn meal
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
Directions

1In separate bowls, beat the egg whites and yolks.

2To the egg yolks, add the sugar and beat well.

3Add the corn meal, milk and flour.

4Add the melted butter, beaten egg whites, baking powder and salt.

5Pour into a greased iron skillet.

6Bake at 450° in oven until golden and done.
