Blueberry And Mint Refreshment

- 7/8 cup blueberries
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 mint leaves
- 3 1/8 cups sparkling water cool, or soda
- ice to taste
Directions

1Place the blueberries and sugar in a small pan and bring to a boil until blueberries release juices and and syrup starts to thicken (about 5 minutes). Let cool.

2In a pitcher, mix the syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, mint leaves and sparkling water. Stir well, add ice cubes and serve well chilled.

3Note: For a sweeter flavor, replace sparkling water with soda.
