Blueberry And Mint Refreshment

Ingredients

  • 7/8 cup blueberries
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 3 1/8 cups sparkling water cool, or soda
  • ice to taste

Directions

    Place the blueberries and sugar in a small pan and bring to a boil until blueberries release juices and and syrup starts to thicken (about 5 minutes). Let cool.

    In a pitcher, mix the syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, mint leaves and sparkling water. Stir well, add ice cubes and serve well chilled.

    Note: For a sweeter flavor, replace sparkling water with soda.
