- 1/4 cups Water
- 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Blueberries
- 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Italian Basil
Directions

1Cook water, sugar, and blueberries (defrosted or fresh) in a small saucepan, covered, for about 5 minutes over medium heat.

2Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally and using a wooden spoon to press down on the berries until all the berries have burst.

3Turn off the heat.

4Stir in the lemon juice and minced basil.

5Let it cool to warm.
