  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 c buttermilk
  • 1/4 c orange juice
  • 1 tsp grated lemon or orange peel
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 Tbs turbinado (or brown) sugar
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
