Blueberry Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. or 1 stick butter and 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 lb. can (5 oz.) blueberry pie filling

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, except pie filling.

    Batter will be stiff.

    Spread 1/2 of batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan, then spread pie filling on top of that.

    Spread remainder of batter.

    Drop by spoonfuls.

    When finished baking, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.

    May also top with whipped cream, if desired.
