  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. blueberries
  • sugar for sprinkling of muffins
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 can canned milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 12 oz. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • poppy seed filling
  • 3 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar and baking soda.

    Add milk, eggs and vegetable oil.

    Add salt, poppy seed filling and vanilla.

    Spoon into muffin cups about 1/4 full.

    Then add one-third teaspoon of lemon filling,

    then cover and add to about two-thirds full with more batter.

    Bake at 350° for about 15 minutes, being careful not to overbake.

    Remove from oven.

    Need not be iced.
