Blueberry Pound Cake

- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour, divided
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 pt. fresh blueberries or 2 c. canned, drained and rinsed
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until fluffy.

3Add vanilla.

4Sift 2 cups flour, salt and baking powder.

5Add sifted ingredients to creamed mixture and beat. Dredge berries in remaining 1 cup flour.

6Gently fold into creamed mixture.

7Pour mixture into tube pan which has been buttered and coated with sugar.

8Bake in preheated 325° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

9Serves 15.
